Remy

What is Remy?

Remy is a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge that lets you set reminders for any browser tab. Right-click a tab or use a keyboard shortcut to schedule a reminder, and Remy will notify you and reopen the tab when it's time.

All your data is stored locally in your browser. Remy does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.

How Remy Uses Your Data

Remy requests only the minimum data necessary to provide its features:

• Tab information (URL, title, favicon) — used to create reminders and reopen tabs.
• Selected text — optionally captured as a note when you set a reminder via the context menu.

This data is stored entirely in your browser's local storage and is never sent to any external server.

Optional Integrations

If you choose to enable an integration, Remy will request access to the relevant service:

• Google Tasks: Remy requests access to your Google Tasks to create and manage task reminders on your behalf. OAuth authentication is handled by your browser — Remy never sees your Google password. Remy only reads and writes tasks you create through the extension.
• Todoist: Remy requests access to your Todoist account to sync reminders as tasks. OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser.

Integrations are entirely optional. You can use Remy without connecting any external service. You can disconnect integrations at any time from the extension's Settings panel.

Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Remy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• Remy only uses Google Tasks API data to create and manage task reminders on your behalf.
• Remy does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, with user consent, or as required by law.
• Remy does not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
• A human can only read your Google user data if you provide affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.
